How we are building Europe’s AI Infrastructure

Sesterce’s roadmap is designed to support both France’s and Europe’s AI ambitions:

 

Phase 1: Valence Data Center
Situated in Valence Romans Agglo, this state-of-the-art facility will house 40,000 GPUs with an infrastructure investment of €450 million, totaling €1.8 billion with hardware costs. It will support AI training, inference, and high-performance computing.

 

Phase 2: Expansion in Grand Est
Two major sites will add 600 MW of capacity and 500,000 GPUs by 2028, scaling to 1.2 GW and over 1 million GPUs by 2030.

 

Southern France Supercomputer
A next-generation supercomputer with 250 MW of power and 200,000 GPUs, positioning France as a leader in high-performance computing globally.

 

A sustainable, resilient approach

• Reclaimed Industrial Sites: Transforming former industrial zones into data hubs.
